Deer Leap Friends

Memories of an outdoor pool

I think thge first time I went to the Dear Leap would been about 1976, whenj I was still at home with Mum and Dad in Luton. We went as a family, and spent all day there;
several days tghat summer and several summer later. I remember swimming in the pool, then getting out and running around in the "green" area aroud the back.

When I got a car for the first time, the Dear Leap was one of the first places I went in the summer of 85, I remeber getting very sun burnt that year

I finally went in the summer of 1992, (when dud the [ool close?). When I was still in Luton, but I moved to Harlow in the December of that year. Has it been bult on yet, or is it still there derlict?

Sorry Mick but these photos are all that's left. It's now a pretentious mansion. See here: http://www.countrylife.co.uk/property/details/property/130205?lang=...
